At GNSC we recognise that safeguarding is everyones responsibility and therefore we all work towards ensuring that our swimmers feel that they are in a friendly and safe environment whilst training.

All of our teachers and coaches are available on poolside, please ask for an appointment either before or after a session to discuss any issue that may arise. Although, should the matter need to be taken further, please ask to see the Head of the Learn Swim section - Sandie Fulford or the Head Coach - Richard Skirving regarding any coaching matters that can not be resolved with the squad coach.

As a club we are SwimMark accredited and therefore we adhere to a clear set of guidelines which ensure that any safeguarding issues are dealt with correctly see below.

Please contact the Welare Officer Una Wilcox immediately on [email protected] or ask our membership desk team to contact them for you if you feel there is a safeguarding issue concerning a child or adult

You can download the fully interactive wavepower child and adult safeguarding policy handbook in PDF format by clicking the icon below, alternatively this handbook can be found in the Documents section of the website.
