Assessments:
All swimmers are continually assessed by their lane coach against the criteria set out in the ASA National Plan for Teaching swimming. On completing a level the swimmer is given a slip providing details of new time/place/coach and also instructions for purchasing the badge and certificate. All badges can now be purchased directly from Carol Denton, who will be available in the Cygnets Cafeteria between 7.40pm and 8.30pm on Mondays and Fridays.
Alternatively, please put badge money in an envelope clearly marked with the swimmers name and level achieved, and pass it to Emily/Sue.
The ASA has recently released an updated version of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, which may result in changes to the current structure. Any changes will be posted on the notice board, website, and in the clubs newsletter.
