Gravesend & Northfleet Swimming Club is based at the Cygnet Leisure Centre, Old Perry Street,Northfleet, Kent DA11 8BU  but also utilises various other pools in the area.  We have a flexible approach to training sessions, both in quantity and duration, dependant on the level of competence the individual swimmer is hoping to attain.

We have a strong team of qualified coaches and teachers who are fully supported by a team of enthusiastic helpers both on poolside and in the Club’s administration. This ensures that our swimmers are achieving their potential and just as importantly are enjoying swimming as their chosen sport.

The Club has a wide base of swimming ages. Swimmers can start in the learn-to-swim programme, progressing through the lanes.  Age Group swimmers are invited to enter competitions,

both as individuals and as team members.  Junior members are encouraged to be positive role models to the younger swimmers, both at competitions and in taking an active interest in the Club’s

running.  And with swimming being one of the few sports that is open to all ages, the Club has a full complement of Masters swimmers, both competitive and non-competitive.
